JACK PYLE PARK

Public BBQ

This park caters well to families with young children, particularly those under two years old. The playground equipment is safe and age-appropriate, set on spacious, level ground with shade sails overhead. A half basketball court suits older kids, while simple exercise machines are available for adults. The off-leash dog area gives pets room to run in an enclosed space with plenty of tree shade, though there's no undercover shelter. Barbecue facilities are available along with a sheltered area containing picnic tables and drinking water. Benches are scattered throughout for watching the kids or taking a break. The main drawback is the complete absence of toilets, which several families found problematic enough to cut their visits short. Walking tracks wind through the park, and there's ample open space for running around, even if the playground itself is relatively modest in size.
